Some clear storage boxes that you can stack may be helpful in the process. You might also consider (if you don't already do this) storing the non-seasonal items in boxes in the attic or basement. Now I have soo much less space, about 1/3 of that, and it is a mess. I think the thing that would help me the most is if I put somesort of cabinet/organizer shelf in there for some of the extra stuff.
