Change 2 - Walking 45 Minutes

I have decided to elevate my heart rate and burn excess calories by walking 45 minutes, every day.  Weather permitting, I will do so outdoors.  Otherwise, I will walk on my treadmill.

I have been exercising and walking, on and off, for years.  But, I’ve never been consistent.  From now on, no matter where I am or what my schedule is, I will do my very, very best to walk for 45 minutes.

  2. That’s a good one. You’ll probably enjoy it especially if you have a park or maybe a store a perfect distance from you or someone to walk with. I’m lucky because I can get my circulation going during my lunch breaks sometimes. My job is in walking distance from my bank a mall and a grocery store so sometimes I briskly walk to the locations during my break to run some errands. Healthier and saves a tiny bit of gas.

  3. Also, depending on how bad your winters are, you can substitute walking with shoveling snow. Now that’s a workout!

  4. This makes a really good time to listen to music or favorite podcasts too. One of my favorite podcasts is called Cadence Revolution which is a podcast of upbeat music that really helps to keep you moving.

  5. This is a good one, I wonder if it’s possible to commit 45 minutes of each day to nearly anything. Maybe if I could multitask on the treadmill like dictating a blog post or something like that it would be easier.
